From your dashboard select All posts or All pages depending on what you want to edit.
Hover over the post or page title.
Click on the Quick Edit option that appears.
Deselect the tick in allow comments box.

How to change your WordPress home page to a static page

Go to settings
Click on reading
Under the heading Front Page Displays select the button that says a Static page
Choose your page from the drop down list.
Save your changes.

Get your WordPress pages to display in the order that you want them

From your dashboard click Pages, then All pages
Hover over the page title
Click Quick Edit
You need to change the number in the order box on the right hand side.
The pages display from low to high from left to right.

It cost me just over £20 for 50 cards including postage. You can upload your own design or choose from a selection. The quality is as good as any that I’ve had in the past. They are great! How to change the blog title and tagline

This applies to version 3.3
Go to your dashboard
Click the Settings tab
Click the General tab

Change Site Title from My Blog to your title

Change Tagline from My WordPress blog

Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page

And that’s it!
